2025 Weather Thread

Today got me thinking. Yes, it was frightful outside. Not exactly my cup of tea, but if I had to choose my extreme, it would be the cold one.

So, the average high temperature span across the entire year here is 62. I would take that every day honestly lol. Anyway, if the temperature at what would normally be the peak temp was 18 today, thats minus 44 degrees, while on the other hand, 44 degrees above is 106. Once I thought about it that way, decidedly, I felt much better about a day like today

I also prefer the cold over the heat. I, too am Scandinavian

The year 2025 featured the 15th warmest year (out of the past 155 years where records have been kept) in Omaha, in terms of average daily high temperatures. The 2025 number was 64.5f. As far as overall daily temperature averages I’m guessing Omaha won’t rank that high.
