apparently tickets are going to be only $25, which isn't bad. June 16th is the cup race with the other two series on Friday and Saturday

I rewatched the 1993 winston select 500 yesterday; I wish NASCAR was still like that today. Better racing, bigger names, cars that looked like the car they were supposed to be. The announce team was better (IMO), i dunno. just seemed to be a better product.

Team Penske No. 12 disqualified from Cup Series Playoffs race at Las Vegas

Ryan Blaney. All initially looked well for the No. 12 Team Penske Ford, finishing sixth at Las Vegas and earning eight valuable stage points to boot. However, a post-race disqualification demoted Blaney to a 36th-place finish and erased any forward progress needed to break into the Championship 4. Blaney currently sits 56 points below the elimination line, last among the eight remaining playoff drivers.

2.Kyle Larson* – 4084 (-)
3. William Byron – 4,126 (+30)

I'm happy Blaney won the championship. But I bet on him to win the race dang it. A little bitter sweet, but I can be happy with that outcome. If I get real, real lucky, Chastain gets disqualified in post race inspections and Blaney gets awarded the win. Long shot for sure.

But congrats to Ryan Blaney! He's been one of my favorite drivers to root for.

Eh, it's fun but really gimmicky. Tracks so small the tail end of the field is already a half lap down.

But I'm glad the season is right around the corner. Can't wait for the Daytona 500!

Yeah, I agree. I thought it was going to be really cool when the idea was first announced, but overall its been a complete letdown.

Maybe it would be cool if they made a tournament out of it. If there were 40 cars, have 8 different races with 5 cars each with the winners advancing. I dunno. The track is so small if you don't start first or second, you basically stand no chance.
