If I'm being honest, the Seahawks look like the one to beat. I feel any other team will be *lucky* to beat them. Rams might, Broncos definitely wouldn't, and Patriots might.

Our best matchup is Rams-Patriots.

Second is Seahawks-Patriots.

Seahawks-Broncos would be another blowout.

I don't think anybody has Rams-Broncos in the cards.

In other words Patriots win. It might be the most hated outcome, but it'll give us the best Super Bowl.

Well, I was rooting for the Texans. But an unfortunate five-turnover game has sent them home.

At this point, my ordering of preference is:
1. Seahawks (Darnold is a good story)
2. Broncos (I'll have to wait a year before the Chiefs can beat up on them again)
3. Rams (the Dodgers won the World Series… LA doesn't need a Super Bowl, too)
4. Patriots (remind me why did the Titans fired Mike Vrabel?)

I'll be doing what I can to help the Patriots win tomorrow. It'll probably be a party of 1 or 3 tops, but clam chowder and lobster, biscuits and crab legs on tap. Red Lobster at my house lol. Red lights already on, and will sleep in my Rex Burkhead jersey tonight. Broncos can eat Rocky Mountain oysters.

I find it somewhat interesting that both Jarrett Stidham and Bo Nix are ex-Auburn Tigers. Therefore, they should be interchangeable…

Stidham is also a former Patriot. I just looked at his career stats, and I like what I see.

Patriots 24-6

The Patriots just beat the Broncos 10-7 in a very snowy Denver. So they're going to the Super Bowl.

I cannot believe it. From 3-14 to Super Bowl. As a Patriots fan, I did not have this in the cards.

It wasn't how I had it drawn up in my head but damn, 3 points is 3 points.

As also a Lions fan, I would have told Sean Payton to kick the field goal. I've seen it too many times lol. Field goals win games.

The Seahawks just won the NFC Championship game 31-27. So they're going to the Super Bowl. That means it'll be the Patriots and the Seahawks in the Super Bowl.

*yawn*.

Aside from seeing how long Nebrasketball can dance, sports is over until at least the NBA playoffs become interesting or The World Cup starts.

Oh, but I’m glad the Broncos lost because Sean Payton is an arsehole.

I was rooting for ol' Statthew. But given how close the games were, the Super Bowl might be a good one.

Marshawn Lynch ate Skittles he stored in his socks throughout games. Seattle *probably* lost their last Super Bowl by not running the ball.

Regardless of my allegiances, I am a run the damn ball guy.

Just friendly banter.

Well this is pretty funny-

He's wearing the good jersey.

I've seen a lot of SM on how the Seahawks and Patriots should both wear their throwbacks. The Patriots have the choice this year, and apparently they've chosen white. I approve. It's been a bit of good luck as they're 2-3 in color, and 4-2 in white. Also, the white jerseys are almost the exact same as the old road jerseys. I guess which jersey to wear in the Super Bowl is a good problem to have.

Your move Seattle. Please wear the throwbacks.

It's halftime and the Seahawks are up 9-0. The Patriots' defense held them to 3 field goals.

Superbowl was a bit on the boring side. I like good defensive battles but I want them to be close and this game was a bit more lopsided than normal. Always cool seeing a young coach get his first, but also would have been cool to see Mike Vrabel become the first coach to win as a coach and a player for the same organization.

Halftime show was whatever. I'm the guy that complains when the oldies or classic rock station plays songs that are too new and so this show was nothing in my wheelhouse. That said, the production was well done with all the plants and buildings. I did see both political parties were using it as a way to further divide America which was exactly what this country does not need at this time, so that was sad.

That first "catch" that led to Seattle's first 3 was BS. There was also a first down awarded to Seattle that was clearly short. The game was still decent to watch up to half time when Drake Maye tried to be a hero with his arm. He took a number of sacks when if he just took his usual lane up the middle for 5-10 yards... Patriots had at least three interceptions left on the table. Not that they were easy, but they were close. Overall, it was hard to watch. Sad

Well, I certainly didn't have the Patriots making the Super Bowl at the beginning of the year, so I can't be too disappointed. It was closer than 29-13 in my eyes until they started giving away easy points. It was more like a 15-13 type game before the wheels fell off.

I didn't care to stick around for the celebration, but I'd say their kicker won them the game.

I didn't like that one of the Seahawks' touchdowns was called back due to a holding penalty. That was a good explosive run.
