If those buildings peaking out over the top of the stadium are downtown then they must have shifted/rotated the orientation of the field/stadium. Originally you were supposed to have basically a straight shot view of downtown from home plate.
The orientation hasn't changed. I don't think those are supposed to be downtown. Possibly the Sheraton?
