Trying to read through this thread, but I haven't really been able to find a timeline. I've seen the poor renderings, but I was just wondering if anyone knows what the plan is for the soccer fields. Every time I drive by, I'm shocked that nothing is happening, and they haven't cut the grass once this year. They already missed out on 1 youth soccer season this spring,

We interviewed Mayor John Ewing Jr. when I was on Grow Omaha a couple weeks ago. Mayor Ewing said everything came in over budget. The Budget was $50 million and the bids came in at $100 million. Trying to get it back to $50 million. They want to get started this November.

The City of Omaha is inviting residents to learn about coming improvements to Tranquility Park.

Omaha’s open house on the project will take place on Thursday, October 23, from 5 - 7:30 p.m. at the Saddlebrook Community Center.

Building 1 – Soccer Building Primary soccer support facility including team rooms, staff areas, and building support spaces.
Building 2 – Soccer Concession & Restroom Building Support building serving the soccer fields with public restrooms and concession areas.

A lot of the fields are now graded, and what I assume are light pole bases have sprung up on the edges of the fields.
