Sad to see, but I believe the owner recently passed. Also with all the development in the area, they may have been bought out.

An inside look at downtown Omaha's only haunted house
"Expect to be separated from your group but have a good time doing it," said Jim Kristl, co-owner of Dungeon of the Damned and Hollywood Candy. "It's not just a painted wall, everything has a purpose, has a texture, has an idea." Housed in the depths of Hollywood Candy, in the historic old building sits, Dungeon of the Damned.
The experience starts before you even enter the building. They'll have a concession stand with themed menu items. Dungeon of the Damned is open now and will be open from Thursday to Sunday through October 29th.

Police investigating haunted house hit-and-run
A haunted house is temporarily closed and rebuilding its facade after its first weekend of the Halloween season. Omaha police are investigating a hit-and-run after a car crashed into Shadow's Edge near 84th and West Center Street Sunday night. The owner says a group of drivers were in the parking lot outside the attraction when a car accelerated into the structure.
Shadow's Edge built a name for itself, scaring thousands over the past 20 years. It announced 2023 would be its last season earlier this year.

Shadow's Edge scaring customers for final time
A two-decade staple of the spooky season in Nebraska is hanging up its chainsaws and hockey masks. The Shadow's Edge haunted house in Omaha is closing after the 2023 season. The attraction at Westgate Plaza announced this past spring that they are shutting down after 20 years. The multi-scene, immersive experience has been owned and operated by Scott Murphy since its beginning. Its final season got off to an auspicious start, as a driver crashed a car into the building at the beginning of October, damaging the haunted house's sprinkler system.
