Omaha by Design told me that this was purely conceptual and part of a student exhibition with the UNL College of Architecture.

There are two buildings in downtown Des Moines that are at 45 degree angles to the rest of the buildings. One is an office building and the other is condos/apartments/whatever.

Listened to Heath Melo’s comments on Grow Omaha and he said that there are a number of residential developments that we should hear about from city hall in the coming weeks and months. OmahaJays has a really strong track record and I’m guessing that this site will be one of those residential developments Heath was referring to.

I noticed drilling equipment on site today. It appeared as if more testing was underway.
