Ok looks like they dodged that bullet. McDermott 39 points. Everyone else not very good.

I was talking a Creighton fan and we both felt next year could be a long year for Creighton. Everything is for this year as not much in the cupboard for next year.

Entering a 10 day break as we get ready to play all the teams in our conference again we should look less sloppy.. team looked tired towards the end of the game tonight. First time I've seen it all year so hopefully Creighton comes back and looks sharp again!

Great win for the Jays tonight....unable to attend the game for the first time tonight. My wife was giving birth to our first baby! Good reason to miss, but I am glad they got the win.

Thank you guys for the congrats.....it was a long day (the baby was born about 4 weeks early but still 7lbs and 7 oz and she hopefully will get to come home in a few days) I should have posted on here for someone to take my tickets to the game. It would have been a great one to see.

Up to a 3 seed as well in Lunardi's bracket. This looks like a good way to make to make the Sweet 16.

What they deserve vs what they get... When all said and told, they may deserve a 3 seed, but the committee has historically placed them differently. Will it be different now that they are in the BEast? How will WSU be placed? Time will tell...

If the season ended today, WSU has earned a #1 seed, no doubt. They are consistently dominant, consider their non-con wins, and also consider last year's tournament showing, and you have a team who has done everything they needed to do for a 1 seed, even if they are in a mid-tier conference - and I do think they will get their 1 seed, should they win out. (I think they deserve a 1 seed even if they have a bad night and drop a game)

Just looked through your pictures, Brad. Please tell me in the two with Will Artino, the guy playing defense on him was called for a foul. That is insane.

I can't remember for sure, I would need to go back and look at the image sequence, but I believe it was the same play. For sure the one around the neck was called a foul.

It did help the conference RPI. It pushed the Big East back to number 3 in conference RPI surpassing the PAC 12.

Glad to see the Jays getting ranked where they should be. #12 in both polls. I have felt all season that some other schools shouldn't have been ranked higher than them, namely Iowa. Outside of their conference schedule, their SOS is pretty weak. Lets go Jays!

That would be an amazing finish for McDermott's career. Even reaching the Final Four would be awesome. I hope that they keep up their firepower. At this point this season I honestly can say that I think they can hang with anyone. If the Jays shoot anywhere close to how well they are capable, they could take anyone down. So far this season I am loving the consistent play. In past years, I would always worry but with the added "spice" of playing in the Big East, it seems as if the players are playing with more urgency as well.

It is all in the seedings. If they get a break this year, they might get favorable matchups. But the have big games left, and the @ St John's is looking a lot harder recently.

One streak Creighton is starting again... 10 Conference wins and 20 season wins...
