He was out of practice on Thur. Back Friday. Did the early shoot around and then was back in the locker room throwing up before the game

The hidden positive is that Frager got a start and played over 20 Min. Curtis and Garcia also saw a lot of playing time, and this could be valuable time as the conference and NCAA tournaments approach.

A little bit of lost momentum in the middle of the second, but overall a satisfying win. Sanford was on fire for most of the game, ending with a career high 33

Now we need to see, then rinse and repeat on Wed night against Maryland

Nebraska, Creighton and UNO all played yesterday. Went to Pauli's Ak Sar Ben and watched the UNO (CBS Sports Network) and Nebraska (BTN) games simultaneously. Then followed that up with the Creighton (Peacock) game.

It will be interesting to see how the awards fall out. There can be arguments made for more than one player/team being deserving. The one that I will stake my opinion on, though, is if Fred H is not B1G coach of the year, I have no idea what people are looking at

The Huskers are #9 in both the AP and Coaches' polls this week. Up from 12 in AP and 10 in Coaches.

In both cases, they are by point total closer to #8 than #10

I can't remember where Michigan was predicted to finish in the Big 10 but I think the highest Nebraska was, was 14th in the preseason polls.

Here is what they said about Nebraska in their breakdown

Breakdown: A healthy Rienk Mast is a problem. The Nebraska big man just makes the Huskers go as a pick-and-pop weapon who can score inside and out and pass the ever-lovin' cover off the rock. Fred Hoiberg is one of the best offensive masterminds in college basketball, and he will have at least one dynamic shooter on the floor at all times with Pryce Sandfort or Connor Essegian. Nebraska also smartly loaded up on a cavalry of playable big men behind Mast, highlighted by Central Michigan transfer Ugnius Jarusevicius and returning junior Berke Buyuktuncel, who can be one of the best defenders in the league.

Ultimately, guard play could determine whether Nebraska is dancing. Jamarques Lawrence is primed to get the first crack at that ultra-important role.
