I wonder if it's on hold then for now (assuming this situation raised enough red flags that the city is trying to punish them) or if they get to retain their license until 1/21?

I can't believe something in the location alone or the building is causing the trouble... therefore, it has to come back on mgmt/ownership. Even if they're hiring their own security, something apparently isn't working correctly.

Yeah, because no other bars play hip hop without the same problems.

Of course it is the owners/ management. They choose who they want to attract as customers through their theme, choice of music and entertainment, prices, etc. They chose to be schidt magnets.

An old bar owner told me once:

"Your bar theme in Omaha only be a sports bar, Irish bar, or biker bar. If it is any other format, you will begin to have problems"

She went on to detail the tailspin process:
1. High volumes of carloads of people start showing up on random nights late before close.
2. a)They arrive already very intoxicated and thus: b) Start to fight c) you have to hire security to stop b), c) they don't buy anything (see a), d)if they do they walk out on their bills.

You run a big risk trying to "do something nice" (think Nomad).

Again, this was 25 years ago, but it appears nothing has changed. I've been watching the krush/throwback deal for a while, and I guess I'm surprised the liquor control people have had this much patience. You can bet your hide that the much advertised for streetcar is going to only add fuel to this fire.

Good news. But I’m guessing that some other low life bar owner or wannabe bar owner will take up the slack.

Wow. Even Tony’s soon to be ex wife Breanna Pham
Carr is listed separately and solely without Krush Lounge attached to her name. I wonder if she was the madam. And I see the Throwback Lounge is named. This illegal ring of sex trafficking and prostitution and cocaine and under age drinking must have been going on for as long as Tony and Breanna opened the Throwback. Their involvement just proves how terrible they are and that they deserve to be shut down. betting we will see some mugshots pretty soon on the news.

Funny this was brought up almost a year ago….
Nicholas Scalise is also a defendant named in the law suit with Club 180. He is the son of Maria Sangria and has a long list of grievances.

just SHUT THEM DOWN (and put them away) if these allegations are true!

Are either of those places (Krush or Club180) still operating at this time? I know Krush lost their liquor license, so who the heck wants to go there if they can't legally drink? That's definitely the first step to closing it down. As for Club180, I suppose if it's only unproven allegations and the feds or cops haven't come in to shut it down, they'll probably keep it open until told otherwise.

I get it - just because it's a bar and or a strip club doesn't mean you're a deadbeat. In this case, however, it's not looking great for the owners. Still at a loss as to how they opened that strip club in the Two Fine location even though the landlord said he was against it. Makes absolutely zero sense, unless that was an outright lie... you can't just let someone assume a lease of a commercial property and do whatever they want with it. Doesn't work that way.

I believe this bar is listed with a business broker. Sale price of $ 650,000. The listing is showing an income of $ 390,000. If that's true, I'm in the wrong business!!

Yeah, but RICO implies that crimes were committed behind the guise of an enterprise. I didn't see the SA allegations on that linked page.

Actually have that as a kids' book. The complete name is Hookers and Blow Save Christmas.

IT is actually decent and funny, other than the title being very suggestive. Got it as part of a white elephant Christmas gift.

Bet you anything, they turn it into Club180 style and drop booze (they're done with a liquor license forever at that address, LOL). So they'll just let their clientele bring their own alcohol into the place. I've always been amazed at how this is "OK"... I understand you may not need a license to sell the liquor, but as the business owner and venue, aren't you legally responsible for ensuring everyone is legally able to consume? I'm surprised some bright congressman hasn't implemented some sort of rule that requires each can or bottle to be "taxed" on the premises... some sort of consumption or enjoyment tax, so to speak.

Although I'm confused as to how they can run any business at all if they're seriously tied to drugs, trafficking, skimming payroll, etc. I'm making a few assumptions here due to the pending litigation that includes both Krush and Club180 as I would think there has to be some sort of connection between the two.

Speaking of Club180, does anyone know if it's still open? They had that REALLY BAD story come out a couple of weeks back, but haven't heard anything since. There were claims ex employees had video proof of things taking place onsite - find it hard to believe if that's true that they'd let them keep the doors open.

I realize that OPD HQ is basically across the street from this place, but it still wouldn’t be a bad idea for OPD to set up a satellite office inside the Krush building. It could just operate after the sun goes down on weekends.
The owner(s) of this property really put the “A” in “hole”.

And here it is... (Krush) https://www.ketv.com/article/krush-plan ... l/64582752

So if they claim they still require a license, how the **** does Club180 get to operate? They claim the process will "take months", therefore I can't imagine CLub180 actually did the same.

Regardless of they type of environment, I do feel if someone is allowed to consume alcohol inside a business, they should require some sort of permit to do so. Obviously there's some sort of loop hole these places where they skirt the issue.

It is interesting that Krush claims to have zero association with Club180 (regarding the lawsuits being filed), yet they're swiftly trying to move over to the same business model. Granted, just because you want to sell doughnuts doesn't mean you're in kahoots with Krispy Kreme. It's just a bit ironic.

I'd say both of these places/owners don't pass the sniff test (unless it's related to doing lines). LOL

Quote from the story online: Club180, a strip club at 180th and Q, where the landlord and neighbors have tried to push them out, but after a judge's decision, the club can stay.

I still don't get how the landlord can't kick them out - he leased the business to whomever opened Two Fine Irishmen to be a pub and grill. A place with a liquor license and live music plus food.

Regardless of whomever is still on the lease (even if it's an original owner of Two Fine Irishmen), once they closed their concept, the landlord should absolutely have the right to say the new business concept isn't allowed. A bar and grill is not the same as a strip club. Even if it remained a normal bar, once it closes and gets renamed, I believe the landlord has legal rights to likely revoke the lease.

You can't go lease retail space saying you're going to open a Subway, sign the docs and then turnaround and open a daycare or a coffee shop. It doesn't work that way.

Don't disagree with your point but it all really boils down to how the lease was written.

Point taken - if I were the landlord, I'd be looking for a new real estate attorney yesterday.

And we are all supposed to believe this dumbass that this is slander about the illegal poker games and strippers???🤔 He’s literally selling off the evidence. I’m sure those stripper pole coffee tables still have some
blow left on them……

Club180 & Krush alleged activities aside, it's really weird that you're stalking this guy on Facebook Marketplace and posting screenshots. Are you expecting us to all gather pitchforks and go marching through the Old Market? If you have actual non-rage bait concerns about these sales you should probably contact OPD.

Tony rented a storage shed to take as much with him before he files for bankruptcy. All the equipment that was listed to stay with the business for sale is being all taken out and the listing has not been adjusted to specify that it’s an empty shell. All those stripper poles and poker tables sold and not sold have been taken off of his page that he is trying to recoup funds as well. Too late for that.
