Last night was impressive because they didn't do any advance sales according to Gary Sharp on 1620. Ticket only went on sale that morning.

With Bobby Witt being a top 3 finalist for AL MVP (Prospect Promotion Incentive) the Royals will get a extra draft pick, it will be between the 1st and 2nd round. The Royals also get an extra pick between the 2nd and 3rd round (competitive balance). Should be a great draft for them, with 4 picks before the start of the 3rd round.
