HDR Expanding Already

I work in Aksarben and have heard from a credible source (can't say who for obvious reasons) that HDR has outgrown it's new office building already and is planning to build another office tower in the open space right next to their current office tower in Aksarben. Obviously rumors are just rumors but all things considered, I'd be surprised if this isn't true (more of just a question of "when" and "to what scale"). Sounds like construction may begin sometime in 2020 though assuming they get everything in place that needs to happen first (obviously). Maybe this is publicly known already too but I haven't seen it anywhere so I figured I'd mention it

Yep, I'd assume that was the plan - just not something this quick I guess

I think he is talking about light strings hung and planters they placed in the lot where the 2nd tower is located. It's like a quasi outdoor gathering area.

There was supposed to be a statue put in that area so I thought maybe they had added a lighted glass statue like the one UNMC has at the NW corner of their campus.

Hmmm... I had assumed it would not be happening that quickly. I mean, they just completed the first building, and yes, two buildings was the plan. But I'd find it hard to believe they failed to consider the possibility they'd outgrow the current building this quickly without building a bigger structure initially, or building the second structure (or at least having a really solid plan) concurrently during the construction of the current one.

But, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they are starting the planning process now. If construction was going to happen in 2020, It would probably be pretty late right? So then they would wait 'til 2021.
