Snow hike in the Less Hills

Back in early December I went on a couple mile Snow Hike in the Loess Hills.

Good video. I don’t get over there much anymore. I used to go there for work sometimes, Glenwood, Pisgah and Soldier areas. The area is fun to just drive around and take in the scenery.

Sure is. I really like the Preparation Canyon area around Pisgah, but I don't get up there as much these days with the little kids.

It was great. I took my 3 year old up there last fall when it was dry and he did ok. Little warn out by then and of the 2 miles. I don't think he could make it nearly as far in the snow.

I think I’ll wait until the temps are a little warmer to go. But it would be great to see it when the trees are just beginning to leaf-out. Nice video!

Also, it’s spelled “Loess”, correct? My father-in-law is a soil scientist. He pronounces it as “Luss.”

The spelling is Loess, but it is pronounced "Luss"... you're correct.
