Street Lights Down on Hwy 75

Does anyone know who to contact regarding the light poles that have hit and fallen down on Hwy 75. There are numerous ones, (at least 10 of them in a stretch both north and south bound that have between Q and the I-80 split that have been down for at least 2 months)

Not only is this a huge eye-sore, especially when they just put cones up and mow around them, but also a huge safety hazard if someone needed to use the shoulder in an emergency or if there is another wreck. I understand that they may not be able to repair the same day, but a reasonable expectation would be within a week.

Also they need to take a street cleaner through this area 1-2 times a year. There is so much rock and debris on the shoulder that gets spun up and hits people's windshields all the time.

The street cleaners are too busy taking care of neighborhood streets west of 144th.

Should be OPPD. I know they finally fixed one in our neighborhood that was taken out by the storm weeks ago.

No clue, and that could be what is holding it up. I would just like to reach out to someone. We recently went on vacation to Wisconsin and drove through Iowa and all over the state of Wisconsin and not once was there a city with dirtier highways than Omaha. I understand it is a constant struggle, but that is a huge thing people notice when driving through and it leaves the impression that the city doesn't care.

I use to drive that stretch daily when I taught down in South O. There seemed to always be street lights out or knocked down on that stretch and it took a long time to get them fixed/replaced

Using the OPPD app you should be able to click on individual light poles and submit a report.
