Re: Cost of Living
I’m curious how or if Omaha’s rank has changed over the years. But I couldn’t find any studies from Smart Asset relating to prior years. (Their site’s search feature doesn’t work.)
Anyone happen to have them?

Just behind St. Louis. I was surprised to not see Des Moines on the list, but their like 100 something in city size ranking. I wonder how we rank overall if they did a metro versus city ranking.ChadJK wrote: Mon Mar 20, 2023 8:51 amI'm surprised Lincoln, Nebraska, is in the 76 largest cities.nebport5 wrote: Sun Mar 19, 2023 12:53 pm What $100,000 Is Actually Worth in the Largest U.S. Cities – 2023 Study

I remember seeing a VH1 "fun fact" 20+ years ago lol, that Lincoln was actually the largest city in America without metro/suburb laden city lolChadJK wrote: Mon Mar 20, 2023 8:51 amI'm surprised Lincoln, Nebraska, is in the 76 largest cities.nebport5 wrote: Sun Mar 19, 2023 12:53 pm What $100,000 Is Actually Worth in the Largest U.S. Cities – 2023 Study

Re: Cost of Living
If you exclude cities that are losing population, Omaha is the 15th largest city!Louie wrote: Mon Mar 20, 2023 10:56 am Weird seeing Omaha directly behind Atlanta: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U ... population
Not that excluding those cities is a particularly valid approach.
