LINCOLN — Scott Frost’s success as a football coach at the University of Nebraska wasn’t a record-breaker, but the sale of his home in South Lincoln was. Frost’s five-bedroom, eight-garage home in The Ridge neighborhood sold for $3.5 million in late November, according to Lancaster County property records. That is the highest price paid for a home in Lincoln since 1997 and is probably an all-time record, according to Kyle Fischer of the Realtors Association of Lincoln. Fischer said there’s a chance there might have been a private sale — one not listed in the multiple listing service used by Realtors — that was higher, but he was not aware of one. “Prices in Lincoln overall are at an all-time high,” he said. “This is highest we’ve ever seen.” The median sale price for an existing home in Lincoln was $259,900 in February, according to MLS records, which was 13% higher than a year ago.

At this point, more than a few people have weighed in on what they think was the problem under former Nebraska football head coach Scott Frost. However, one thing that stands out in a recent interview with former Husker JoJo Domann is that it’s the first time one of Frost’s former players really shed light on how they feel.

I wonder if he will even coach again. I wouldn't think a power 5 program would be interested in him at least as a head coach. Nebraska was more than patient with the guy. Frost is now a millionaire, he has the chance to do something else for the rest of his life, maybe coaching football isn't his goal or passion anymore. I guess we will find out at some point.

Former Nebraska head coach Scott Frost says he wants to return to the sidelines. In an interview with Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports, Frost indicates he’s anxious to find a new job. He has not coached since his firing from Nebraska on September 11, 2022. “I’m dying to get back in,” Frost told Dodd. The article was published on Wednesday, which includes Frost’s first public comments since his dismissal from his alma mater. The 49-year-old Wood River native compiled a 16-31 record at Nebraska. The CBS Sports report claims that Frost “prefers not talking about Nebraska.” Frost, who spent four-plus seasons as the Huskers’ head coach, currently resides in Scottsdale, Arizona.

That seems way too harsh. He should be able to start back out as OC for a group of 5 school at the very least.

And Louie, I agree with you too. Nobody's perfect, but I recall countless times watching games and saying "call this, not THAT" and with persistence, he would call THAT play, and subsequently lose a lot of games.

Guy deserves a decent job and an opportunity to redeem his acumen that he had at Oregon and UCF.
