Skybridge/Skywalk Difference?

Post by mrsticka »

Years ago, I once commented on Lincoln building more skybridges downtown and someone corrected me saying they were called skyWALKS. So what's the difference between skybridges and skywalks? Aren't they the same thing?

Tomato/Tomahto. Up in Sioux City they’re called Skywalks. If there is a difference, I’d say a skywalk is enclosed and climate controlled while a sky ridge isn’t

Sky Ridge sounds like a housing development. "Somewhere between the Miracle Hills and Fair Acres lies your new home, in Sky Ridge"

I think one is a Jedi and the other is not.
