For anyone not paying attention these passed pretty easily.

Along with the infrastructure the biggest items were new high schools at 60th and L and 156th and Ida, a new elementary school on south 10th on the former Grace campus and near Southroads in Bellevue, as well as a new middle school in South Omaha off of 42nd and Y. The police dept will also get a 5th precinct HQ in the Elkhorn area.

It was the that new Police Station that really got my goat!

These are all essentially to fund a continuation of business. If one got voted down that area would basically grind to a halt. The PD that 'got your goat' was called for a long time ago and also in a study in 2011 (although locationally different) I assume that was later amended but nonetheless needed.
