Most of these 15 brand new hotels are along or very near to their new streetcar line, including its extension to the Plaza. Something for Omaha to ponder.

Great point. It's already popular, once they get the extension underway and completed to Westport/Plaza area, it will be wildly popular. Since it was completed we always try and stay near it.

The Dine KC. brochure, free at most hotels, lists darn near 250 restaurants, bars & grills and other food related places within a couple of blocks of the streetcar. http://kcstreetcar.org/wp-content/uploa ... ideFNL.pdf , www.kcstreetcar.org and www.downtownkc.org .
