This is a nice addition to the Metro Community College programs. In coordination with the State, a national apprenticeship organization, and two Omaha manufacturers, MCC will offer some more apprenticeship programs. The two companies are CLAAS and Graepel. Sounds like a great program when the companies involved will pay for the qualifying apprentices' college degree and wages in a three year program. Thereafter, the apprentices have two years of guaranteed work with the respective companies. Based on the work the Companies due, it will probably be some kind of metalworking/welding apprenticeships.
