New busiest traffic time

I see after ~7 years the highest traffic time was dethroned. Friday August 2nd, 2019 at 7:22pm now reigns supreme at 400 concurrent users. Though, I wonder if it was related to the Russian spam bots that came through.

It would be interesting to learn why this occurred. A new post perhaps with a lot of links? There is a google widget that can be added that will give the website owner a report telling them the web crawl stats. see https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/crawl-stats
It would tell you in future if it was a google bot event.

There is nowhere even close to 100 people that come to this forum much less 400! Even claiming there are 50 people that come to this forum would be stretching the truth. Even if all the guys who are posting under multiple nics here logged in at the same time there still would not be 100 posters in this forum.

We apologize over the inconvenience the Russian Spambots have recently been causing. We have tried disconnecting all users only to find a second later at least 75 users are back online. There are 500 lurkers online now. We have been looking into this.
