Has anyone used a Mavcard on the Metro Bus before? Do you just swipe it on the fare box?
I’m doing some trials to see if I can use it as a viable method of getting to work during spring break and don’t want to be holding stuff up as I am new to the system.

Re: Using a Mavcard for the Metro
I don't know, myself. Just ask the operator. Believe me, there are much more inconvenient things people regularly do at the fare box than you asking how to use your Mavcard. If for whatever reason you and the operator can't figure it out, just have the $1.25 fare on hand in case. On the extremely off-chance something doesn't go right, always have a couple spare sets of $1.25 and separate $.05 on hand (I'm sure you already know this) in case you lose your card or something else unusual. Don't be shy, you'll get it.JuanMaddox wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2020 11:23 am Has anyone used a Mavcard on the Metro Bus before? Do you just swipe it on the fare box?
