Bizarre Incidents In Omaha That Made National News?

I'm wondering something–Have there ever been any strange, unusual or bizarre incidents that occurred in Omaha that made the news nationwide? For example, there was that one incident where a cat rode on top of his owner's van down I-480, but what else has there been?

Franklin Credit Union sex trafficking and child prostitution rumors that involved some from the higher echelons of Omaha society (like OWH Publisher) and kids being flown to high end political functions (including in Washington DC)

Although the Enron Scandal occurred in Texas, Enron was founded in Omaha. The news reportings never left that out.

I remember that this made a couple of national blooper reels.

I just came across this in a YouTube video. Pretty crazy. Apparently developed amnesia after getting lost in a storm on Lake Erie and then ended up in Omaha, eventually becoming a TV Sports commentator for KETV.

Wow. When I was a kid, I stumbled upon an All Star Wrestling “meet and greet” at the downtown Penney’s store on 16th. Fritz was the emcee. Got one of the wrestler’s autographs. Even though I thought the whole thing was fake, it was a great TV freak show, especially the audience.
