Albert's?

Does anyone remember the Albert's brand of food products? I believe they got their start in Nebraska. We used to use their BBQ sauce back in the 1980s. As best I can tell the brand is now owned by Ott's and the only Albert's product they offer (at least, offer online) is Albert's Poppyseed Dressing. Anyone know where there's a history of the company? I seem to remember hearing the original owner got arrested at some point, but I may be remembering that wrong.
