I-11 In Nevada

The Nevada DOT is planning to extend I-11 north of Las Vegas. Personally, I think they should do it one of 2 ways:

Either this way:

Or this way (slightly rerouted south of Carson City):

If it were to be done, then Nevada's 3 largest cities, Las Vegas, Reno and Carson City, would all be connected via this route.
