Salvation Army - Sally’s Select (25th Avenue and Dodge Street)
Salvation Army opens new thrifting boutique
Located just a few steps away from the 25th Avenue and Dodge Street thrift store, the Salvation Army is offering a new take on thrifting in their freshly opened boutique, Sally’s Select. Major Dan Sawka, the Salvation Army Omaha area commander, said the store is a way to offer a more specialized experience to shoppers.
“One of the things we're trying to do is, we give a little bit more of a specialized touch on some of the products that we can provide to the customers and to the people in the Omaha area,” Sawka said. "It’s a completely different shopping experience than you'll see in any place else."

I saw that both of these thrift stores closed down and now the whole campus is for sale. Will be interesting to see what goes in here

That will be a great redevelopment area. That block and the one to the west as well...they both look pretty sad right now.

The Salvation Army thrift store was emptied last month, the donation center is closed for good, and the donation drop boxes on the west side have been removed,.

Hoppe Development bought these properties for $7.5 million. They are a developer based out of Lincoln largely focused on affordable housing but they have done a little market rate product.
They are doing the affordable senior housing project at 23rd and Douglas.
