RV Park - 231st Center St / Elkhorn River

A new 58 slip RV park will be presented to the Omaha planning board for review June 5th. It’s to be located just SW of the Elkhorn River and Center St. Local residential HOAs are not in favor and appear to be gathering together to mount a fight to stop it however they can.

Concerns over traffic, sanitation, and the ecological risks to the river (high flood prone area) are their primary concerns. I’m sure this one will be gathering more news headlines as we get closer to June.

RV park is planned to only be available for use six months of the year. Winter months it’s to be vacant.

I'm not sure what existing homes it impacts.

An apartment completed would add more traffic.

Yeah that’s the area. The neighborhoods on the East side of the River are the ones concerned.
