NWSL stadium Denver

While soccer isn't my jam, pretty large proposal for Denver's NWSL expansion team. The land has sat vacant for a long time, formerly Gates rubber factory, so the change will be welcome.

I grew up in that part of Denver, and we used to drive by there all the time. From the picture, the open end of the stadium is pointed Southwest. You could see some mountains, but it wouldn’t be the best views.

My guess is that they angled it to keep the sun out of the eyes of the players and spectators in the evening.

The opposite direction would be staring at I-25, I think.
