Bogie's Bar & Grill (3305 Old Maple Rd)

hi, i'm new to the forum and omaha area! my parents recently opened a sports bar and grill, Bogie's, with a restaurant feel. it's near 108th and Maple at 3305 Old Maple Road (most remember the location as the old Perkins).

this post caught my eye as i was looking to find different ways to help my parents advertise. Our house specialties have an asian flair including teriyaki but we also offer a variety of grill-type choices (burgers, pork tenderloins, salads, etc..). we've only been open for about two weeks and would love everyone to stop by and check it out -- it's a family owned/operated business and we intend to keep it that way -- hope to see some of you!

Best wishes for success in a tough economy! Glad to see something going in there near the hotels. I am sure your family has advertised heavily in the hotels. None of those people will be eating at home.

I know the focus has been on Krush but it's interesting more don't talk about Bogie's. This isn't the first time they've had issues there:

I really hope they succeed. Seems the only thing that works in that location is a nightclub.

Has this ever been a nightclub? I was a Perkins forever and then Bogie's Bar & Grill ever since?

That particular Bogie’s seemed to be more of a nightclub than a bar. Nearly everyone I drove to or picked up from there was dressed fancy like they were going to a club.

"Another" or "the new?"

Isn't Pheasant Bar & Grill one of the businesses in Millard Plaza getting booted out as Lord of Hosts Church takes over the entire thing? It makes me wonder if they opening an additional location where this Bogie's location was or if this is simply going to be their new (and only) location.

Around 6pm this evening it looked like a few fire trucks at Bogie’s. I was on eastbound maple getting ready to merge on to the interstate so I didn’t get a real good look. It sure seemed like more than a standard medical call, but I could be wrong.
