Forbes: Omaha #7 Best Place For Business

Was this the same ranking that Omaha at #7 in 2003 and dropped it off the charts in 2004?

It was either this Forbes ranking or the Business Expansion/Management ranking where this happened in 2004. If it were for Des Moines ranking at the top, that ranking would've lost a lot of credibility. ;)
We all know Omaha is a great place to do business, the history of the city shows that very well.

This is a dated list Erik... but we all know Omaha is the best place to do business anyway.

This is good publicity. Too bad they didn't mention Creighton or the UNO/Kiewit Technology union.

When will they put a bigger number besides 723,000. IF some one from California is want to move to a more affordable place to do business they aren't going to want to go to a Boise, Omaha, or Des Moines that doesn't even have a million people. I'm glad were on their but a city of 723,000 isn't going to jump out to someone from Miami or Houston.

Those numbers look pretty close (but are defintely different) than the Census 2000 metro populations.
