Lincoln - hotel/mixed use

I am not sure if this has been posted anywhere but there are negotiations for a mixed use building that will be going up next to pinnacle arena. I know (90%) that a hotel is part of the development in which a former husker is a partner along with someone who owns a few hotels in Lincoln & Omaha. It is said that retail will be below and the building will have the hotel and condos or apartments attached. The announcement should be coming out pretty soon. From what I'm told this has been worked on a lot the past few months and ground will be broken as soon as the hotel brand contract is signed

This has been announced. It is all part of the Canopy street development next to the arena. The hotel was just recently announced and it will be Hyatt. The former husker is Wiegert.
