20 Ribeye Steaks for $40

I have always wondered about the "20 Ribeye Steaks for $40" you hear advertised on the radio. Right now they are at a few different local area Menard's locations. Seems like quite the racket. Not a scam, but high pressure sales and upselling.

I heard them blasting these last week on the radio a few times and wondered what kind of steak you could buy out of the back of a truck at a Menards. I feel bad for anyone who went to buy them since it appears they pour on the upselling techniques like no other.

What a joke - things like this should be illegal... or at least highly frowned upon. When we would buy Omaha Steaks from one of their stores in the past (we no longer patronize them after their business practices in the last year), they'd always try to upsell like crazy, too. There would be a little old grandma working part time behind the counter who would flip out like 3-4 different laminated sheets with "special offers" going on for a limited time. LOL
