Opened January 31, 2026, where Sakura Bana used to be. They're an authentic Japanese ramen restaurant.

I'm not 100% sure if it's Misolado, Mi So La Do, Crafted Ramen Misolado, Misolado Crafted Ramen, or some other variation. I've seen it styled several different ways.

It seems odd, to say the least, that two unrelated Japanese restaurants would be located adjacent to one another in the same small strip mall.

I like it. It's like when Tous les Jours opened just around the corner from Asian Market, even though Asian Market had already started selling baked goods or Thirst-Tea joining the 78th Street Asian food fray even though Asian Market selling boba. I like high concentrations of Asian restaurants/food retailers (I'm Asian). Think of Chinatowns/K-towns in bigger cities. It works, and works wonderfully in my experience.

Typically strip mall owners enforce “non compete” agreements in lease terms, prohibiting the same type of business competing with an existing tenant. No second hair salon, pizzeria, bakery, etc. I’m not saying it won’t make Asian food lovers like myself happy. But since this strip mall in no way, shape or form resembles a Chinatown, Koreatown, Little Italy of that sort of ethnic neighborhood, I just find it odd.

Went to Misolado last Friday. Twas amazing. My wife and I got the Tonkotsu and Spicy Ramen, and an order of Karaage Chicken. Everything was delicious and it came out in 10 mins or so after ordering. So good!
