Chicago Lumber opens new Marvin Window & Door store in Omaha
More than 125 years ago Chicago Lumber, now the owner and supplier to Century and Windows and Doors, opened in downtown Omaha as founder M.T. Green’s westward stab at adding to his lumber empire.
Now Chicago Lumber at 14th and Pierce in Omaha is one of the state’s oldest yards and suppliers, with eight locations in Nebraska and Wyoming and more than 125 employees.
Not content to ply its trade in east Omaha, Chicago is on the move again, opening a Marvin Widow and Door store at the House to Home Center on 138th and Industrial Road.
