Does anyone know what this is? This sign has been up over the former Enterprise location in the parking garage across the street from Central HS for the last month or two.

I had originally thought they were just making the garage and storage prettier, but I walked by today and looked in the windows and on the bottom level they've cleared everything out, carpeted and finished, hung rather interesting light fixtures (green umbrella things? fun!) and had piles of chairs over in the corner.
A conference center/ballroom type thing perhaps?

Nope. This garage is just south of Douglas.

Just leased as an event space / location by the STEP Group - the marketing company that put together the Haute City event at Midtown Crossing a couple of weeks ago.

Less than a block away, at 112 S. 20th St., an unrelated structure also is to get an additional top floor. Currently a two-story garage with rooftop parking, the Anglim property is to be transformed into a three-story modern office building under a plan by the family that owns it.

Great article! They included an aggregation of info on downtown development and current office situation downtown and throughout the metro.

Yes, this is a good thing to read:
According to Colliers International, the office vacancy rate in downtown Omaha has dropped from about 10 percent at the end of 2017 to 5.7 percent today.

Article free to all now.

https://www.omaha.com/money/plus/projec ... 2dfa3.html
Renovation plans call for the roof to be enclosed and the top floor to become about 28,000 square feet of office space, with scenic outdoor decks. A total of about 125 parking stalls would be available on the first and second floors. The first floor has an additional 8,000 square feet that could be office, amenity or retail space, said Cindi Incontro of Colliers, who is marketing the space along with colleague Kristi Andersen.

Changes to the building will wait until an anchor tenant is secured, Incontro said. She said calls about other available downtown office spaces have been “brisk,” and she expects the Anglim project’s proximity to the future mass transit station, its indoor parking and views to stir up interest.

It says that Noddle is building a 100k office building downtown in the article. What is that referring to?

The article says the 100k building would be next to the new Kiewit building in NDT.

...probably on a new super-block closing off more streets, would be my guess. I would hope Lanoha gets some additional unrelated tenants lined-up to fill their new proposed high-rise buildings.
He said "They are some big, ugly red brick buildings"
...and then they were gone.

New redevelopment plan for the Anglim building. It was purchased by CHDP, the folks that tried and bailed on the Scoular property for that proposed health and sports facility that A&R Salvaged owned. It's a multiuse concept with rooftop event space, a health clinic and office space. Could be an interesting use of an existing storage facility.
