Wolf Creek (Bellevue)

Post by skinzfan23 »

According to Grow Omaha, the former Gordman's store at the Wolf Creek shopping center near Cornhusker and Hwy 75 in Bellevue, is going become a Ross Dress for Less and Five Below Store. Renovation should be complete next year.

I have never heard of Five Below, but it sounds like every item is priced between $1-$5.

I had heard the building that used to be Summer Kitchen Cafe in Bellevue has sold and a new restaurant is coming. Anyone know the details?

Some time ago I had heard that Hyvee had purchased the property and this was supposed to be the first Wahlbergers in Nebraska. Not sure if it's true anymore

It looks like the old Summer Kitchen Cafe at 1203 Cornhusker Rd will become a Sickies Garage Burgers & Brew.

Sickie’s? Really? Think that if I was opening a burger joint, I would want it called something more like “Tastes great and really good for you burgers”.

Interesting. Based on the website, it seems to be a similar to concept with Smitty's Garage; small, regional chain with a car garage/man cave design, focusing on burgers and beer. They have a menu of 50 burgers, which seems excessive, but we'll check them out to see how they stack up against other burger places in town.

Burlington opens on June 25, 2026, in the space formerly occupied by Jo-Ann Fabrics in Wolf Creek Plaza (SEC of 15th & Cornhusker).
