Crazy amount of carwashes going up. They recently tore down the old State Farm office and do it yourself car wash buildings on 108th and Maple for a Club Carwash.

Yeah. A club at wash is going in at 21st and Broadway in CB. They are tearing down the Sundel Plaza for it. That place need to go so it is an improvement. They are too put in apartments in back of it.

It seems to be the thing these days. There have been 4 car washes built and 2 ‘Coming Soon’ signs put up for car washes within a 4 mile stretch of Highway near me.

It seems to be the thing these days. There have been 4 car washes built and 2 ‘Coming Soon’ signs put up for car washes within a 4 mile stretch of Highway near me.

Maybe it will help with the long lines on those random sunny 50 degree days in January.

Seems like a profitable operation. $8 for the express wash. Maybe 25 cents worth of water and soap.

(Yes, I'm aware that the washing operation didn't build itself. All business have initial outlay expenses).

Weak explanation. I need to look into what criteria can kill a project, even if it is a permitted use. I hate that they allowed the one in front of the Hilton on Dodge and 88th when it goes against any kind of master planning the City has for the Dodge corridor.

Looks like they are remodeling it. Lots of shipping containers in the lot.

Yeah, I know the previous iteration of that lot was not any better, but for the City to just allow a car wash right there on Dodge, ugh. It's a permissible use, so it's all OK.
