The Omaha Public Schools and the City of Omaha will join forces to build an elementary school at 148th and Fort Streets that will include a public library and community center.

I read that article earlier today. I'm absolutely dying waiting for the first time some transient gets caught surfing for something "obscene" in the library, like a picture of Britney Spears or something as equally abhorent. I've always wondered what the sound of 500 soccer-mom heads exploding in unison would sound like...

My hometown did something like this recently. They built a new highschool library in conjunction with the County so that it was open to the public. My understanding is the public can only access computers in one area of the library while school is in session.

It would sound like 500 baloons popping(their heads are just full of air)
Alright, no one get mad its just a joke

If they do like they did with metro and the LaVista Library, it should work out good. School on one side, library one the other, commons in the middle.
