156th and Spaulding

I noticed yesterday that they were doing some work on the lot here that years ago was the Hollywood Diner. Anyone know what's going in?

I was talking to a worker at Williamsburg pizza (168th and Harison), and he mentioned that they were breaking ground on a building soon near 156th and Maple. I had asked because I was wishing they had one closer to my home. My assumption was that was the location since it matched what he had told me.

Yes. And now it will not only be Williamsburg Pizza but Stories Coffee will be there as well.

Google Streetview shows the short history of that place that my mind completely forgot about. Sep 2008 had now hiring signs, 2011 showed the place being sold and by 2014, it was gone completely.

Not Penny's, it's been there a long time. Mel's has been there over 12 years according to Google Maps.
There's a guy out on 92 between Mead and Yutan with one in his yard too.
