Be it NIL money, team culture, personal ethics, or something else as to the "why", but Creighton was very fortunate to have Kalk for four years. And as a fan, it was awesome!skinzfan23 wrote: Thu Oct 23, 2025 2:15 am Kalk finished with a double double. 10 pts, 11 rebs and 2 blocks!

Pretty easy to not watch ESPN anymore, too.

got that right. I miss the old days of ESPN when it was Rich Eisen, Stewart Scott, Dan Patrick, etc.

This gambling scandal is huge. Hopefully it’s contained to just the few that have been arrested, but I think all major sports will soon have a gambling reckoning.

Re: 2025-2026 NBA Season
As much as I appreciate some of those old guys, that’s also the era where ESPN decided their anchors should also be comedians. That’s digressed to the current crop of clowns like Finebaum, whose opinion I couldn't give an arse of a rat. Rarely do I watch Sportscenter. Just give me sports news with insightful commentary and without the cute b.s.thenewguy wrote: Fri Oct 24, 2025 11:54 amgot that right. However, now that Inside The NBA has been acquired that may class up the joint at least for NBA related reporting. Sure, is Inside The NBA sometimes teetering on a circus tightrope? Yeah, but at least it’s genuine, non-scripted, honest and ringmastered by the great Ernie Johnson. Hopefully, Espn/ABC doesn’t muck it up.
Side note: The opening days of the season have yielded great competitive playoff level matchups and been fun to watch.
"It's just a rendering."
