Omaha has seen a marked change in the housing market out west these days. In fact, some people are not on the hunt for houses. These prospective buyers are apparently searching for condos. At least that's what some area realtors are banking on, anyway.
I didn't like t that much. It made it sound like realtors expecting to make a ton of money on this. Some realtors are all about the money and that's just wrong, IMHO.
Now I know you have said that you are getting into the real estate market bu I have thought that one of the main reasons a lot of people go into real estate --- they see the dollar signs.

Well yes, we have to eat somehow. However, I don't think they should sell them what they don't need by manipulation. I just don't like the headline, I think a better one would be "West O condo market is hot" or something like that.

Adam --- most of us don't need 2000, 3000+ sq ft houses but they keep building them and selling them to people who don't need them but want them. heck i live in a house with about 1200 sq feet and for a single guy it is probably a little big BUT i couldnt afford a $150,000+ condo any where in town.
My guess is if you real estate career works out that you will be taking home a lot more than this educator of 26 yrs takes home.
