Taco Johns 108th and Maple

Nothing Big, just a new Taco John's on 108th and Maple (2 blocks south of maple)

Wow that would be the unteenth fast food joint in the 108th and maple area.

A welcome addition. I was hoping for one further west on Maple. I love their taco's (for fast food) and potato oles.

This has actually been planned for a long time. I used to work for the Taco Bell on 108th/Maple and left there in 1999. At that time, there was talk of the Taco John's coming. It was my understanding that when Simmonds took over the Taco Johns part of the franchise agreement was to build 3 (?) new stores and remodel the rest.

Why do I get the feeling they didn't buy the pice of ____ one in LaVista.

They have done a great job since they bought taco johns.

Their meat is really good. I ate at one the other day. I still love Amigos, though. They have small, grinded beef that is hard to find at mexican restaurants. Anytime I'm back in Omaha, I have to stop at Amigos and Runza (and sometimes Taco Johns).
