The road study comes, in part, as a response to record development in the Omaha area in 2006, according to Chamber of Commerce figures. On Thursday, developers and city leaders announced a new project called Coventry that will be a mixed-use development that will stretch from 204th to 216th streets and between Q and Harrison streets. I believe that all Brad is suggesting is that since this KETV article discusses two distinct items (Record Development and A New Interstate Loop) that discussion on the Record development should be posted on this thread but discussion on the Interstate Loop should occur on a thread that already exists: Entertaining the thought of a south/west & south bypass
Anecdote: so I drove my car last night for the first time in a while. I went from 38th st to 120th on Dodge. And let me tell you, there was some heavy, major-mertopolitan-esque traffic. I hadn't seen traffic like that since I was in San Francisco.
^ Don't know exactly what you experienced, but traffic during Christmas shopping season always seems about 275% of normal to me. That might be part of it.
