Cinema Center Closing!

Douglas Theaters is Closing Cinema Center because of the new Westroads theater.

According to Trenton and Jeff from Grow Omaha. Someone will be turning the old Cinema Center in to an event center. Not many details yet.

It will be called "Talk of the Town Event Center" The Event Center will only take up part of the building.

It's a great space. I'm pleased someone will be making good use of it. I have thought several times about "if I had the money to..."

That IS a really lame name.

Any more details about the plans for this building? What kind of facilities will it have, and what kind of events are they aiming to attract?
