Anyone know what's up on the Boystown property west of 144th, north of Millard North High School? I noticed several earth movers back there.

I saw a proposal one time for a HUGE mixed use development back there, similar to Coventry (204th and Harrison). I thought it was called "The West Farm"
But that has been 2+ years ago.

I can't imagine they're pushing dirt around for the sake of contour farming. Something is up.

Yeah, I'm with you... the land is under development. Is there a thread? Perhaps we can dig up some details and start one.

They are moving a lot of dirt and have areas staked / flagged off.

The grading on the Boy's Town property is being done to create a "pond" that will receive about 90,000 cubic yards of material that will be dredged from the 25 acre Boys Town lake.

Thanks for the update Herb. I remember when they did that at 114th and Blondo when the dredged Candlewood Lake. I am thinking it was in the early 90'sHerb wrote:The grading on the Boy's Town property is being done to create a "pond" that will receive about 90,000 cubic yards of material that will be dredged from the 25 acre Boys Town lake.
