Around 9 a.m. on a recent weekday morning, I met a friend in the parking lot of the Dundee Theater on a secret mission: collecting a dozen bagels from the Omaha Bagel Co.

The cottage bagel bakery, which has been around for almost a year, only accepts orders via text message until farmers market season begins, and I wanted to try my first bites in anonymity, hence the secret part of this baked good mission.

Fortunately they are only open very limited hours and get most of their business through catering at the moment. I’ll be looking forward to them being open weekends in the future hopefully.

My wife has been ordering us bagels from them for the past couple years now at various pop-ups and deliveries. Great bagels.

FYI, I merged this thread into the threat that we already had.

They've been pretty packed even through the resurfacing of Leavenworth. The bagels are pretty top notch.
