My Killer Father: The Green Hollow Murders

I watched the first of the three-episode documentary on Paramount+ called My Killer Father: The Green Hollow Murders. All three episodes were released on Apr 28 2026


This is the story that I remember hearing some coverage on a few years ago from Fremont County. Iowa.

Here is the brief description from IMDB
Follows the investigation into Donald Studey, known as the Monster of Green Hollow, as his daughter claims she knows where dozens of bodies are buried from decades of alleged murders.

I found it interesting because of the local tie-in and some of the videos showing local areas I am familiar with. There was some from Thurman I will watch the other two but for me the jury is still out on how well this is done.

The one daughter who is intervied that beleived here dad is not guilty comes off to me as strange. She is the one in the first episode who sits at a table of photos and shares a number of them with comments. The daughter who moved back to Iowa and is convinced that he did this is presented as 100% sure he is guilty
