Old time ag-industrial jobber family business in Omaha.
I think they closed. Were downtown, moved to Abbott drive in the late 80s.
Can anyone confirm? Web is up, my guys are saying closed, closed on google.
I think there are only a few of these types of businesses left from the olsky-olsky. Central Rubber, Baum Hydraulics, JP Cooke, etc.

Where I used to work, we did a fair amount of business with them, but I haven't done any recently. I believe they closed sometime last year.OverlookedFarm wrote: Wed Sep 30, 2026 6:31 pm Old time ag-industrial jobber family business in Omaha.

Yes, John Day did close. They were one of my customers and had stopped paying their invoices about 6 months prior. We stopped accepting orders.nebugeater wrote: Wed Sep 30, 2026 6:48 pmWhere I used to work, we did a fair amount of business with them, but I haven't done any recently.
