Orpheum Overhead Walkway Construction

Fifteen years ago (or so) when OPPD built their new office building and parking garage, they designed an overhead walkway that was to span 16th street from the new parking garage to the Orpheum theatre. For a variety of reasons, it wasn't built back then.

The city and OPPD have finally decided to add the overhead walkway.

Here are a few snapshots of the construction in progress.

Title says it all. The framework has been hoisted into place.
