Fire Hydrants

Post by MrsSpr0ut »

Fire hydrants in the Benson/Dundee area are all being sprayed a light gray color. They’re doing a fast/poor job so there’s quite a bit of overspray on the ground, so it doesn’t look great. There’s one on saddle creek that looks freshly painted yellow and red, so I’m hopeful it’s primer? Anyone know why they’re being painted?

They repaint every # of years. Paint fades and salt or brine isn't nice to paint either. Makes things easier for the fire department. Green cap has highest PSI, orange the lowest. My neighborhood has been done 3 times in 15 years.
